Settling into a new property is even easier if you already know some of your neighbours or are friends with some of the local residents.

Which is exactly what happened to friends of Mr Hodkin and Mr and Mrs Paterson, who are all residents at Bramshott Place Village in Liphook, Hampshire, and have been busy recommending the luxury village for the over 55s, to friends and old neighbours.

Mr Don Hodkin is one of the residents at Bramshott Place Village who encouraged a friend to buy a property there. “Earlier this year I bumped into one of my old Grayshott neighbours, Mrs Margaret Dwyer, who was looking round Bramshott. I told her I was extremely happy here and she couldn’t do better. I’m pleased to say she moved in shortly afterwards.”
